Alexandru Rogobete, former Minister of Health, stated that Romania needs strong institutions and not a "cult of personality."
In a message on Facebook, he warned that underfunding of the social assistance system directly affects vulnerable individuals. Rogobete emphasized that problems cannot be solved through "slogans" or "propaganda," but through investments and predictable funding. Criticizing the idea of a "single savior," he stated that a functional democracy is based on institutions and teams.
The former minister highlighted the lack of financial resources and personnel in social assistance, mentioning that Romania has too few care centers and services for vulnerable individuals. Rogobete called for concrete measures and effective public policies, emphasizing that vulnerable individuals need real support, not political disputes.
He concluded that Romania needs leaders who understand the impact of budget cuts on the most needy.
