The Mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoiță, discussed the modernization works of the heating network initiated during the term of the former general mayor, Nicușor Dan. Although he considers the project necessary, he emphasized the negative impact on green spaces, parking lots, and playgrounds, mentioning that many areas have been affected. Negoiță stated that, despite these issues, the works continue without documentation-related blockages. He highlighted that the local municipality intervenes to repair the damaged areas, even though the responsibility lies with other institutions.

Regarding possible problems with heating in winter, Negoiță avoided a clear answer, mentioning that heating is managed by the General Municipality, but suggested that the sectors could manage this area better. He reaffirmed the commitment of local authorities to collaborate with the General Municipality to complete the rehabilitation of the heating system.
