On Wednesday, a road accident took place on DN 6, at the exit of Orșova, where the trailer of a truck hit a parapet, causing fuel leakage into the Danube. The Orșova fire brigade intervened and the Romanian Waters and the Mehedinți Environmental Guard were informed. Traffic is blocked on DN 6, and the Craiova Roads and Bridges Department estimates that the intervention to clear the road will take about 2 hours.
