Third RO-Alert in a day in Tulcea: aerial threats detected near Chilia Veche

A new RO-Alert message was transmitted on Friday evening for the northern part of Tulcea County, being the third of the day, after aerial objects were detected near the border of Romania with Ukraine. According to the Tulcea Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the population was warned about the possibility of falling objects from the airspace and urged to follow the authorities' instructions and to call 112 if they observe situations that may endanger their safety.

Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense stated that radar systems detected aerial objects in the Chilia Veche area, and two F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft were deployed to monitor the airspace.
