Authorities in Tulcea County issued a RO-Alert message on Sunday evening for the northern part of the county after aerial targets were identified at the border with Ukraine. Residents were warned about a possible drone incursion and advised to take shelter.
The message sent by the authorities was classified as an “extreme alert” and “air raid alarm.” People were advised to take shelter in basements or civil protection shelters. In the absence of such a space, residents were urged to remain inside their homes, away from windows and exterior walls.
