Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated that starting Monday, the water supply will be resumed in the Prahova localities affected by the crisis at the Paltinu dam. She emphasized that the Public Health Directorate (DSP) will have the final word regarding the potability of the water. Buzoianu mentioned that treated water will reach the localities closer to the supply system more quickly and that biological tests will be conducted to verify the quality of the water. She was also asked about the possibility of supplying water for household use, but she specified that decisions must be made by experts, respecting all legal conditions. Over 100,000 people in the counties of Prahova and Dâmbovița have been left without drinking water due to the works at the Paltinu reservoir.
