In the last 24 hours, the mountain rescue service has rescued 16 people, 7 of whom were taken to hospital.

The National Mountain Rescue Dispatch received 13 emergency calls in the last 24 hours, resulting in the rescue of 16 people, 7 of which required transportation to hospital by ambulances SAJ, SMURD or Salvamont. There were also 31 calls for information about tourist trails. Salvamont Romania urges caution in mountain activities and supports campaigns to reduce accidents. Most calls were from areas such as Brasov, Maramures and Neamt.
