The TAROM company announced the rescheduling of special flights for the repatriation of over 300 Romanians from the conflict zone in the Middle East, setting the new date for the evening of March 2. This decision was made due to significant delays caused by ground transportation and border formalities, which led to the risk of exceeding the crew's working time. In the most optimistic scenario, the arrival of the groups of Romanians at Cairo airport could take place around 06:00. TAROM emphasized that the acceptance and processing formalities for luggage will take more than an hour, which could affect the departure schedule. To avoid tense situations and further delays, the repatriation has been postponed to ensure safe operational conditions. The company is collaborating with Romanian and Egyptian authorities to organize the flights under the best conditions.
