Bucharest's Unirii Underpass was reopened in 2022, and since then there have been several incidents, one even resulting in fatalities. The fan damage was caused by an impact and the local authorities intervened to remove it. Additional safety measures have also been taken, such as the installation of maximum height warning signs.
