Employees of the Sector 5 City Hall have started repair work in the classrooms of 'Dimitrie Bolintineanu' High School, affected by the explosion on October 17, which caused three deaths and 15 injuries. Local authorities will install fences to secure the entrances to the stairwell of the damaged building and the windows of the ground floor apartments, considering the risk of collapse. The General Directorate of Local Police Sector 5 will increase the number of surveillance cameras and will secure the perimeter with local agents. Additionally, parking fees for the affected spots have been suspended. The City Hall is collaborating with the Red Cross for fundraising and is providing social counseling to those affected. Access on Vicina Street will be regulated to facilitate traffic in the area.
