M.L.C., a religion teacher and local politician, is under investigation for the repeated rape of a 14-year-old girl in Bucharest and Teleorman. His detention came after prosecutors discovered the offenses committed between January and May 2025. He has also been involved in other legal matters, including refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test. The case is being handled by prosecutors specializing in sexual abuse of minors. Another similar incident also took place recently in Youth Park, where a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.
