Ramona Lile, reinstated as rector by the new Minister of Education

The new Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, signed on March 13, 2026, Order no. 3444, through which Ramona Lile, known for plagiarism, returns to the position of rector of "Aurel Vlaicu" University in Arad. The decision comes after a ruling by the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ), which annulled the previous order invalidating Lile. However, Lile is still under sanctions from CNECSTDI, including a ban on participating in competitions. Although she has launched a disinformation campaign, claiming that the ruling proves her innocence, the reality is that the sanctions remain in effect. A group of professors from UAV has reported to the editorial office of Revista 22, accusing Lile of violating these sanctions by participating in competition committees during the ban period. This situation raises questions regarding the integrity of the educational process and recent ministerial decisions.
