On Sunday, rail traffic on the Bucharest Nord-Băneasa route was interrupted after a fatal accident occurred around 3:15 PM, when a person was hit by train R 8093, operated by CFR Călători. CFR announced that the resumption of traffic will require the intervention and approval of the competent authorities to ensure the safety of passengers.
