On December 22, the police of the Ilfov Service for Arms, Explosives, and Dangerous Substances conducted two searches in Bucharest and Ilfov, in a criminal case regarding the violation of the weapons and ammunition regime. The action was coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Buftea Court. At the home of a 54-year-old man, 32 airsoft guns were found, which there are indications may have been modified to fire lethal and non-lethal ammunition. The confiscated weapons will undergo technical-scientific ballistic analyses to determine their characteristics and legal classification. Investigations continue within the opened criminal case, under the supervision of the case prosecutor.
