Radu Miruță, Minister of Economy, criticized the exorbitant salaries of the heads of state-owned companies, saying that they do not have justified performance for the sums they receive. Although Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu has proposed that they voluntarily give up part of their salaries, Miruță said he has not met any willing to do so. He emphasized that he will implement legal measures to reduce these salaries and change the performance criteria in order to ensure efficient management of state companies.
