The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, announced that the party is submitting two draft laws to correct certain aspects of Package 1, regarding the health contribution (CASS) for pensioners and the allowance for child raising.

The projects are considered remedial measures, following provisions deemed excessive from the previous fiscal package. Senator Victoria Stoiciu emphasized the need to exempt mothers from paying the health contribution, in the context of declining birth rates, while Deputy Marius Budăi stated that war veterans should not be obliged to pay this contribution. PSD intends to submit a third legislative project in a future stage.
