On Wednesday evening, at 7:00 PM, a protest will take place in front of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) to denounce abuses in the judiciary, as a reaction to the documentary "Captured Justice" produced by Recorder. The organizers of the protest emphasize that the independence of the judiciary is threatened, having negative effects on democracy.

They are calling for legislative changes, including the removal of the statute of limitations for corruption offenses and the possibility for judges to choose the prosecutors who investigate them. The Recorder documentary, based on a year and a half investigation, details how the judicial system has been captured by political interests and groups of judges, including serious testimonies about corruption and the intimidation of honest judges. The protest also aims to provide support to the honest judges who are facing threats from a corrupt administration.
