The Property Fund has issued a warning about fraud attempts that misuse its name and identity to solicit personal data from shareholders.

Fondul Proprietatea (FP) has drawn attention to fraud attempts in which individuals pose as employees of the Fund, contacting shareholders to request personal and banking information. They use forged documents to appear credible. The PF emphasizes that it does not ask for confidential data and advises the public to be cautious, not to provide personal information and to report such attempted fraud to the competent authorities.
