The project 'Modernization and extension of the water supply and sewage infrastructure in the Port of Constanța' is financed from European funds and the state budget, having a total value of 164,962,132.02 lei. The implementation period is 2025-2027, and the main objective is to modernize the water and sewage network to meet Romania's commitments to the European Union. The project aims to increase the number of users and improve services, thus ensuring efficient water supply and proper wastewater disposal.


Additionally, technical solutions will be implemented to optimize water consumption and enhance fire safety. The contract was awarded to a consortium of contractors, and the National Company Maritime Ports Administration SA Constanța aims to develop the port as an efficient and sustainable economic hub.
