Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was booed on Saturday in Botoșani, in the context of discontent generated by the budget cuts established by the Government. On Friday, in Iași, PSD mayors boycotted the meeting with Bolojan, arguing that the discussion was formal and that the decisions to cut the budget had already been made.

The PSD Iași organization announced that mayors from the county would not participate in the meetings, while the liberal mayors from Iași claimed that more PSD mayors had initially confirmed their attendance but were instructed not to participate. Prime Minister Bolojan organized meetings with mayors from the counties of Iași and Botoșani, discussing issues related to local public administration, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Development.
