Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated in Vienna that Austria represents an essential partner for Romania, due to the investments of Austrian companies and the jobs created.

He thanked the Romanian community in Austria for their contributions in various fields, from elderly care to skilled trades. Bolojan appreciated the support of the Austrian authorities in integrating Romanians and emphasized the common values of freedom and democracy. The Prime Minister announced that, in future meetings with Austrian officials and business people, there will be discussions about developing economic and energy collaboration between the two countries, for the benefit of both peoples. The event was attended by Austrian officials, including Chancellor Christian Stocker.
