In a press conference in Vienna, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that those responsible for the disaster at the Paltinu dam must answer for their actions and that this will happen soon. He emphasized that, in emergency situations, the priority must be to resolve the issues, mentioning that solutions are being worked on to ensure water for the affected residents and companies.

Bolojan highlighted the need to take measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Criticisms from the PSD, which accuses the Prime Minister and the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, of incompetence, were mentioned, and President Nicușor Dan indicated that the blame could lie with Apele Române. A final report will be available on Friday.
