The Cluj Tribunal has decided to maintain the preventive arrest for the individuals who attacked an ambulance crew.

The Cluj Tribunal decided to maintain the preventive arrest of those accused who attacked an ambulance crew of the Cluj County Ambulance Service (SAJ) in the locality of Căprioara, Recea-Cristur commune.

The incident occurred on August 8, 2026, when the accused stopped vehicles on the road, restricting traffic, and subsequently attacked the ambulance with blunt objects, causing damage.

As a result of the attack, a person was injured, suffering injuries that require 18-20 days of medical care. The accused, who filed an appeal against the arrest, were rejected by the Tribunal as unfounded. The decision is final, and the accused are being investigated for disturbing public order and assault or other violence.
