Following an incident in November 2025 in which the officer in question pushed several journalists who wanted to interview Prime Minister Bolojan, the Prime Minister's Office convened a disciplinary investigation committee for the involved press officer. The committee found that the employee had committed a disciplinary offense, sanctioning him with a 5% reduction in base salary for one month, according to the Labor Code. The incident occurred during an attempt by the journalists to obtain an interview with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, when the press officer pushed some of them. The Government spokesperson, Ioana Dogioiu, mentioned that the employee acted with "excessive zeal" and did not receive instructions to physically interact with the journalists. Prime Minister Bolojan stated that he does not support aggression and did not ask employees to act outside the scope of their duties.
