The American fast-food chain Popeyes announces the official opening of a new restaurant in the food court area of the mixed-use complex Palas Iași, next month. This will be the second location in Iași, following the opening in Moldova Mall in April. Additionally, the brand will inaugurate its first restaurant in Oradea and a new location in Constanța, as part of its expansion plan outside the Capital. Currently, Popeyes operates 17 restaurants in Romania, including in cities such as Pitești, Craiova, and Brașov. The company aims to open over 80 restaurants in Romania by 2033, rapidly expanding in the local market. Starting in 2025, Popeyes will also explore Drive Thru locations. The brand, founded in 1972 in New Orleans, is known for its rapid international growth.
