Parliamentarians enter summer vacation without President Nicușor Dan designating a new prime minister, which can keep Ilie Bolojan in the position of interim prime minister until the resumption of legislative activity. According to political sources, the head of state is waiting for the parties to reach an agreement on supporting a minority government before making an official designation. In the absence of a consensus among PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR, negotiations could continue throughout the summer, and the future government is expected to be voted on in a possible extraordinary session of Parliament.
