PNL parliamentarians decided, following a group meeting, to participate in the debates regarding the motion of censure against the government led by Ilie Bolojan, but to leave the room at the time of the vote, with the exception of the leader and a few deputy leaders. The leader of the liberal deputies, Gabriel Andronache, explained that this decision represents a "protest against this monstrous coalition" formed by PSD and AUR, which PNL firmly rejects. The liberals also stated that they will continue efforts to convince other parliamentarians not to support the motion, with the final strategy to be established within the party leadership after the vote.
