Pluralis, a Dutch company, announces a minority investment in ZYX Publishing Group, the publisher of HotNews

The shareholders of ZYX Publishing Group have announced that Pluralis, a company based in the Netherlands dedicated to supporting independent media, intends to make a minority investment in the group's publications, including HotNews. The notification was submitted to the Secretariat of the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments (CEISD) by the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) from New York.

The investment will be made through a capital increase in ZYX Publishing Group, and the Romanian shareholders will retain control of the business. It is estimated that the investment will be under 2 million euros, intended for the development of the company. HotNews, the group's main publication, recorded a significant increase in the number of views and unique users in 2025. Pluralis is supported by a group of prestigious European investors, including foundations that promote democracy.
