<p>The regional governor of Ruse, Dragomir Draganov, has announced the allocation of European funds for the construction of a new bridge over the Danube, a project to be implemented by Romania. Construction of the bridge is due to start in 2026 and is expected to be completed by 2030. It will facilitate the connection between Ruse and Giurgiu, reducing the time it takes to cross the Danube.
