Dragos Pîslaru, the interim Minister of Labor, revealed that the salary grid for dignitaries was not developed by the Bolojan Government, but was received from the political parties after consultations at Cotroceni.

Pîslaru emphasized that even the PSD agreed with the version sent to the Executive. He also explained that the 40% bonus for mayors working with European funds was an explicit request from local authorities, supported by Olguța Vasilescu. This bonus will not apply to dignitaries in central administration.

Pîslaru mentioned that the grid for dignitaries was established through a political agreement between parties, and the initial version had an impact of 15.5 billion lei, compared to the 8 billion agreed upon. He rejected comparisons between the two versions, considering them defamatory and false.
