CJSU Harghita has approved a monitoring and evacuation procedure to ensure the safe return of residents in the Praid Salt Works area, starting August 13, 2025. The authorities will monitor critical parameters such as the flow rate of the Corund stream and methane gas concentration. Alert codes have also been set to manage economic and social activities. At the same time, the environment minister said that the saltworks could no longer be saved because of the risk of collapse.
