The recalculation of pensions has led to situations where some pensioners have to pay thousands of lei to obtain the necessary documents. This is due to the fact that some pensioners had certain bonuses and benefits that now do not count towards their pension. As they do not have supporting documents, they have to pay large sums of money to their former employers' archiving firms.
