An escaped black panther from a private zoo in Bulgaria has been reported in Giurgiu County, Romania. Police were alerted by a man from Puieni, who noticed tracks of the animal. The gendarmes carried out checks but found no panther. The Bulgarian authorities have put strict measures in place to control the situation, including bans on access to certain areas. Citizens are asked not to interfere and to call 112 if they encounter the animal.
