The administrator of the Marcomovas furniture factory refuses Călin Georgescu's visit to the factory

Ion Marcu, administrator of Marcomovas SRL, a furniture factory in the municipality of Vaslui, has announced that he does not agree to Călin Georgescu’s visit, scheduled for Saturday between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. The company says it did not request to be included in the itinerary and that employees do not want to receive the former candidate for president of Romania.

Călin Georgescu is due to be in Vaslui County on Saturday, with stops scheduled in the localities of Codăești and Lipovăț, as well as in the municipality of Vaslui. According to the schedule sent by the organizers, the visit begins in the morning at the fair in Codăești and ends in Copou Park, at the Folk Craftsmen’s Fair.

The Marcomovas factory had been included in the itinerary at 12:30 p.m., before the trip to Copou Park, scheduled after 1:00 p.m. The company’s administrator says he was surprised to learn that the visit had been planned and informed the organizers that it would not take place.

“The Marcomovas staff does not agree with Georgescu’s visit to the factory and does not understand why we were included in this schedule,” Ion Marcu said. The final itinerary of the visit has not been specified.
