In the last five days, more than 600 people of various nationalities, including Romanians, have left Iran to reach Azerbaijan in response to Israeli attacks and the escalating conflict. Azerbaijan has allowed access through a "humanitarian corridor", and 1,200 citizens from 51 countries have applied for passage. The evacuation was marred by long queues and fuel shortages, and the Azerbaijani authorities offered assistance to the evacuees. The Kremlin thanked Azerbaijan for its support to the Russians.
