The Municipal Company Termoenergetica Bucharest has announced repair and remediation works for damages on the primary thermal network, which will affect 1,100 apartment blocks in various areas of the Capital. The interventions will take place between December 8 and 12, 2025, and their duration will vary depending on complexity. Among the affected areas are Iancului Road, Pantelimon Road, Lacul Tei Boulevard, Octavian Goga Boulevard, Liviu Rebreanu Street, V.V. Stanciu Street, and Timișoara Boulevard.

The works are necessary for repairs or modernizations of the pipes, some of which are up to 56 years old. In total, 11 thermal points will be affected, leaving residents without hot water and heating during this period.
