Over 100 personalities from culture, including renowned writers and actors, have signed a public appeal for the protection of George Enescu's manuscripts, which have been exposed in containers under improper conditions for nearly five years. The appeal, initiated by Gabriel Bebeșelea, Eugen Ciurtin, and Radu Vancu, is addressed to President Nicușor Dan, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, and Minister of Culture, András Demeter.

The signatories emphasize the risks of degradation of these fragile documents, which are approximately a century old. They demand the relocation of the manuscripts to appropriate spaces, the establishment of a team of musicologists to assess their condition, and the complete digitization of the documents. The investigation 'Culture at Risk' has revealed the inadequate storage conditions, and the Minister of Culture has announced checks at the 'George Enescu' National Museum.
