OMV Petrom and CE Oltenia have signed a contract for the construction of four photovoltaic parks, with a total capacity of 550 MW, on land in Gorj and Dolj counties. The investment value exceeds €400 million, of which 70% is financed by the Modernization Fund. The projects will help generate electricity for around 410,000 homes. Implementation will be carried out by a consortium from the USA and Greece, and one park will be built by a Turkish company.
