Port operator Oil Terminal has announced that the incident of contamination of an Azeri crude oil shipment with organic chlorides did not affect its stocks and had no negative impact on its current business. The company has worked closely with OMV Petrom to manage the situation, including by quickly repumping the contaminated crude oil. The Energy Ministry declared an emergency situation, but OMV Petrom confirmed that crude oil supplies have been restored. The value of the 2025 contract with OMV will not be affected.
