A 20-year-old man, who refused to stop at the police signal on DN 39, was pursued and blocked on a street in Agigea. The police from the Road Safety Service made the stop signal around 00:30, but the driver did not comply. After a chase, he was stopped on Teilor Street. Tested with a breathalyzer, he had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.56 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. It was also found that he had his driving rights suspended, having been sent to trial in September 2025 for driving under the influence of alcohol. The young man was detained for 24 hours and will be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive arrest.
