Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, has significant international activity, even though he did not attend the World Economic Forum in Davos. She mentioned that, usually, Davos has not been on the agenda of Romanian presidents and that it is important for this forum to become part of the country's economic diplomacy in the future.
Ţoiu explained that the president's absence from Davos is due to the need to focus on the internal agenda, but assured that the president is active in foreign policy, participating in important meetings, including within NATO. She also announced that Romania will host the B9 summit, a crucial regional event for security and political influence.
