Nine people are under investigation for allegedly misleading 12 companies in Bucharest and Ilfov, with an estimated damage of 1.5 million lei.

The nine suspects are accused of using false identities to purchase various materials from the scammed companies, using checks and uncovered promissory notes. They then resold the resold products at below market prices, generating approximately 1.5 million lei in damages. Officers carried out 20 house searches in Bucharest and five counties.
