At a press conference in Helsinki, President Nicușor Dan stated that, regardless of a potential peace in Ukraine, Russia will remain a constant threat. He emphasized the importance of operationalizing NATO and EU programs for the region, mentioning that the meeting will be followed by technical meetings at the ministerial level.

Dan highlighted the need for a balance between the north and south of the region and proposed that Romania host a security hub at the Black Sea. He also advocated for intensifying efforts to combat disinformation, considering it an effective attack on democracies.
