At the launch of the Report on higher legal education, President Nicușor Dan stated that Romania needs a generation of competent jurists who will take responsibility for the functioning of justice and social cohesion. He emphasized that legal education is essential for building a solid rule of law and for citizens' trust in institutions. Justice reform must begin in faculties, where future legal professionals are trained, and he promised support for transforming legal education into a model of European excellence.
