In a speech addressed to the business environment, President Nicușor Dan emphasized the need for collaboration between the private sector and the state to develop effective economic policies.

He acknowledged that, currently, the state does not have the necessary administrative capacity to develop public policies, which is why he urged companies to come up with concrete proposals, including for the national budget and education. Nicușor Dan highlighted the importance of economic competitiveness in the global context and emphasized the need to stimulate exports and invest in energy. He also mentioned the security-related challenges and the importance of investments in defense, suggesting that the defense industry could provide economic opportunities. Dan encouraged the private sector to actively contribute to the development of solutions that support the Romanian economy.
