President Nicușor Dan stated that Romanian authorities will continue discussions with Ukrainian officials next week regarding the drone incident that exploded in the Port of Constanța.

The criminal investigation opened following this incident is ongoing, and the Romanian institutions involved have prepared material that will underpin future discussions with the Ukrainian side. Nicușor Dan mentioned that contacts have been made with Ukrainian officials, and a patrol plan has been established to ensure security during the summer season.

He also announced that more information will be made public in the next one to two weeks, after the conclusion of discussions with Ukrainian officials. Regarding military aid for the Black Sea area, Nicușor Dan stated that this subject is being discussed at the military level within NATO.
