President Nicușor Dan commented on the proposal of the High Court of Cassation and Justice for an 'agreement for Justice and institutional stability', stating that he has not seen its details, but that any dialogue is welcome.

He emphasized the importance for both society and magistrates to be more measured in their public expressions, recalling that he was criticized by some magistrates without reason. Regarding the salaries of magistrates, Dan believes that they are already higher than those of other professions and that there is a balance in this area. The agreement proposed by the HCCJ aims to protect justice from political attacks and clarify the situation of magistrates' pensions, requesting loyalty measures for those active.
