A 33-year-old Nepalese citizen was placed in preventive detention for 30 days after hitting another 44-year-old Nepalese and a 29-year-old Ugandan with a stick, following a spontaneous conflict. The incident occurred on October 12, in the commune of Petrești, where all three were unskilled workers at a local company. The scandal erupted due to noise, and the victims were transported to the hospital for medical care. The police conducted investigations under the supervision of a prosecutor, and the man was initially detained for 24 hours, later being presented to the judge for rights and freedoms, who ordered preventive detention.
