The first results of the autopsy of the 15-year-old student from Bacău who died at school

Forensic doctors discovered, during the autopsy, that the 15-year-old student who died during the break at a school in Bacău had an enlarged heart, which could indicate an unknown heart condition both to him and to his parents, sources from the investigation say.

The boy's mother stated that she was not aware of such a health issue.

Following the incident, the interim Minister of Health requested a review of the ambulance service in Bacău, and the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU) will analyze how the rescue teams managed the intervention. It is worth mentioning that a crew with a doctor arrived at the child almost two hours after the call to 112, while another crew, without a doctor, had arrived earlier. Investigations continue to clarify the circumstances of this tragic incident.
