A 57-year-old man, suspected of murder in Buzău County, has been detained in Bucharest.

A 57-year-old man, suspected of committing a murder, was caught on Wednesday in Bucharest, at the intersection of Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu Street and Basarabia Boulevard.

The victim, a 59-year-old man, lived together with the main suspect, who attempted to evade criminal prosecution after committing the act. The Capital Police were notified on Tuesday about the discovery of a deceased person in a building in the commune of Năeni, Buzău County.

Following the investigations, the police immediately initiated actions to locate the suspect. He was detected around 11:20 AM and immobilized by the Central Criminal Investigation Service team. Currently, the suspect is in police custody and will be taken over by the Buzău County Police for further investigations.
